A long time back I wrote and entry about googlewhacking. At the time, I was trying to find googlewhacks, and having a darn good time of it too. Well, today I was bored at work (as I often am) and rather than work on my resume (which I should have been doing) I decided to try to find some googlewhacks.
And in doing so, I realized that I could make my blog a source of googlewhack material. All I have to do is create plausible entries for those word combinations I find that current have no google hits.
For example: You wouldn't think it, but amoebae are known for their sassy ribaldries.
If all goes according to plan, amoebae and ribaldries will now create a whack - which is not terribly surprising in that they are not everyday words and don't seem particularly likely to be together.
Amoebae don't have eukaryotes, but if they did you'd have ribaldries on the mitochondrial level too.
Yes, that's right. I'm a big geek. I know it. I embrace it.
Oh, and by the way, hippopotami are well known for their penuriousness.
I think I need professional help.

How about thrimping Cheerios? Now there's an image for you. And this little message makes one more googlewhack for the world to enjoy.
Matt.
I don't think thrimping is a word. But! Shrimping is, as is dodecahedron, and those two together make a whack. Whoopee! Whack!
Tried to googlewhack and landed at this site.
Guess you got here before me on "hippopotami dodecahedron".
Will keep on trying
